As I posted the other day I still can't get the trip computer to work. It shows up in the info screen and the bar graph etc are there but nothing happens. Anyone else have this?

Okay guys I followed the directions and it worked on the first shot! Thanks "Norcar", "JmKiang" and "DC2". Now I'd like to get rid of the "Angry Dad Navigation Loading" text and put in the original text from the factory minus the O.K. button. The 2 treads I found on removing the AD text are confusing and don't say if it works on the 3.30G version. Has anyone accomplished this with the 3.30G version yet? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure if this question has been answered or not, but how does one get the system back to stock if they wanted everything back to how the car came?

disconnect the negative terminal and it'll reset it back to normal.

^ I think you can also reload the navi disk using the diag menu. I just tried this thing and it works great. I feel bad about having the Nav screen run constantly. Angry dad initials are annoying, but oh well. Thanks OP and norcar!

There is a way to get rid of AD's initials...just not sure how. Hopefully someone on here knows how to do it and shares with the rest of us. There are a couple of posts that have a patch you can download but I'm not sure what to do. It's in the original sticky.

I cant seem to change the picture. I tried different pictures, it either says the picture is not the right resolution, or the image is too big. I'm trying to edit the OP's bin file. Anyone getting it to work?

sorry to whore up the thread. Well I couldnt figure out what was wrong so I just started from scratch, did everything, trip,a/c,pix,ok nag. Took like 10 minutes, didnt realize it was so easy lol. I have the exact same file but with the acura matrix pix if anyone wants it. I'll see if I can remove the AD initials.

I did it, followed the instructions and everything worked fine.

The gas guage thing, is pretty cool to look at for about 5 minutes.

But, I believe there is a write up on how to change the lettering on the screen somewhere in this thread. If not, I think its on a sticky on the Navigation page.

My '06 has Nav ver. 3.5. I tried the Hack and it seemed to have worked, until I put the Nav disk back in as the instructions say to do. When i put the Nav disc back in everything reverted back to normal/ OE.

Did you have any luck. Or can anyone confirm that is has worked on ver 3.5?

I think you can reset everyhing to normal by going through the load process ith your original disk in the drive. Thant's what I did and it seems to be working as before.

I still haven't seen the trip computer do anything. Anyone have a similar problem or sugestion?

To reset: UNPLUG BATTERY!

Done. I did it this weekend for some other work and now I have to do the nav hack again.

Too lazy to look thru this thread. What version is your nav disc?

I have an '04 with ver. 3.30f. I had trouble getting it to work initially - using windows to drag and drop the files. After I used Sonic to burn the disc all was well (except the trip computer appeared but did not work). I reset by loading the original in the drive and now the trip computer shows up but still does not work

Now when I try to load the updated files I get the same message to check the disc.

Any advice is appreciated.

I can't say I'm familiar with your version.

What I would: start fresh. Unplug your battery and it'll reset your nav back to factory. Make sure you have your nav code and your radio code before you do this!

Then get the correct files, burn them with burning software (Nero etc) and try the instructions again.

Sorry... its not much.

I hadn't played with this for a while. But I noticed that my audio controls for the center channel and sub were no longer there even after reloading from the original disk. I gave up and disconnected the battery. Everything set back to original condition. I guess I'll just leave it that way. It was fun to play with it, though.

Is that typical for the audio controls to change like that with this hack? One other issue was that the fan speed control did not allow the fan to reach the highest settings. I guess that's a function of the Accord-based files the hack is based on, correct?

I changed my Nav boot up screen to this image: https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...&postcount=159 props to Dave96

Also, the OK button hack and the trip computer/AC hack has been done. The OK screen now shows a message from AngryDad but doesn't require you to hit the OK button.

Since I'm done with this disc and it worked for me, does anyone want it?
Would you mind emailing me that file as well?. I have the old version 3.30.

Thanks
