Just wondering, has anyone ever done a mod that allows the use of foglights while using high beams? I don't care about having independent foglights, I just want to be able to use my high beams and not have the foglights turn off.

I'm a bit handy with electrical work, but I just would like some insight as to how it's done.

I did this mod in my 05 and my fogs work with the high beams.

 

Out of curiosity, why would you want to do this? Using high-beams when it's foggy is one of the worst things you can do in terms of seeing where you're going.

 

thanks for that link. very informative, will it work on a 2007 tl-s too? i read somewhere that i might have slightly different wiring.

its not that big of a deal for me, just wondering if i could because it looks weird to have the foglights turn off when i flick on my high beams.
