One of the problems I'm having with my new '04 Acura TL is that it won't accept CDs. It's hard to tell if there's something stuck in there, but even when I press the eject button it doesn't make a sound - so it seems like it's not functional. The display works just fine, but I'm annoyed that I'm stuck w/ the radio.

I can't decide if I want to go aftermarket or try to find a replacement Acura deck. As much as I would love to have an aux. outlet, I think the Acura deck is pretty clean.

Any suggestions / advise? Has anyone else had a similar problem?

 

Jayne, do you have an Ipod?

if yes, I would suggest the isimple.

if no, and are adamant about replacing the cd player, as I think it took a dump, check out ebay.
If you get a replacement cd player, be sure its the same year, as it will be plug and play.
the 07-08's are different.

 

^I agree with the iPod. If you don't have one consider it. its better than carrying these Old Ass CDs that are unmanageable if you carry too many.

Just... Whats up with everyone's CD Players going Shot!! That sucks on their part. Mines is a DVD Player

 

Of course I have an iPod. That's all we use in the Maxima. Never heard of iSimple, though. I'll google it.
I just don't want something that ends up looking cheap, ya know? I guess I should start browsing through pics of what others have and see if I can come up w/ something I like. Thanks y'all!
