i know how to drive to work, home and local bars (pretty much covers my weekdays). is there any way to get the start up screen to stay on it's fixed display instead of the map or a blank screen?

put the picture on a dvd, and plug the dvd player into the navi drive via dom's tvnavtogo.

 

or change to the audio screen.. or menu; if you zoom completely out you'll see the united states and it wont move..

 

that might work, good thinking. The USA map is a seperate image, I'll go dig it up.
