Do you have any pic of the installation.

Start doing your research because this is where all the fun part will begin. i had never install a system until i got my tl (9 month ago) i can now say that i could install any system and i thought it was the hardest thing on earth. Today i finish my installation (upgrading again) alpine pdx 1000 and pdx 4.150 running a 0 gauge wire and installing my jl 12w7 in a ported box 2cubit port tune 30hz. set my 4 channel gain by hear and my mono amp using a multimeter to achive around 55v which is the require 1000rms X 3ohm with my volume at 30. After tunning everything with my 3sixty is sounding really good since i have a good front stage with my boston pro60 active. I have my front component crossover at 80hz.

Help with serial code

I'm trying to get my serial code so I can get my nav code. I saw on the Acura site a diagram of holding the 1 & 6 then hitting power. For some reason this is wrking for me. Any advise?

the serial number is on the bottom of the dvd drive in the trunk. just unscrew the 4 bolts holding it down.

My nav code was handwritten in the maintence manual. On the check off list when I purchased the car.

Is it not the #'s on the glove box? If not, what are those?

no no no no no no no stop.
dont rip out the navi..

go to your trunk.. look for the navi unit there... slide a mirror underneath and the serial numbers should be right there.. if needed, unscrew the navi unit so that you can see the serial numbers.

That's for the radio code. Just take it to the dealership and they can look up ur nav code if you can't find it. That's how I found out where my code was written down.
