Is this feature available in the Navigation System?

One really nice feature that was in my G35's navi system was the ability to store into the address book whatever current location the car was in. No actual address input was needed. Is this available in the TL?

I didn't see it - can you please be more specific? I am using whichever nav comes with the 2007 TL-S. Thanks.

I think all you have to do is say "save current location" and it will store it.

His point is, hit the voice command button and say it. I don't know whether it works as I've never tried it.

I think you can also hit the icon in the middle of the screen. The current location will show up (long/lat, etc) and I am almost sure there is a save current location button on this screen.

That is correct. Just to clarify - You just touch the red icon representing your car on the screen and it will bring up a menu showing the long. and lat. with a button down at the bottom that shows "Save Current Location".

This will save it to the previous destinations list, not the address book. If you want it to be more permanent, you'll need to manually enter it into the address book.

On the '04-'06 TL, hit setup, (and I believe) on page 2 select personal addresses. From there you can save it. I think you can save current location. Otherwise, route to it, cancel and then use previous location to save.

Not sure how it works on the '07+ TLs.

wherever you want to save your location just push the voice command button and say "Register the current location" the screen will prompt you and away you go
