Does anyone with the camera and/or the MG25 notice slight fluctuations in the video signal?

I noticed this a little while after I installed my camera and it became more obvious after I installed the MG25 and began watching video.

Every once and while the video near the middle of the screen will fade slightly and then come back to normal. It isn't terrible but slightly annoying.

I think it is the Nav2Go being slightly flakey and am considering asking for a replacement from Dom but wanted to know if anyone else has seen this?

It doesn't show up on the Navi screen at all, just when it is one of the other 2 video input.

Thanks

I can see lines in my screen when I watch video. All most like I need to adjust the V sink or something. If there is an adjustment for Dom’s unit like that I would like to know how to do it. Its not horrible but I do notice it.

Mine doesn't constantly have the lines just everyonce and a while, they come and go. I thought maybe loose connection but it was happening perfectly still as well. When I get a chance I will double check everything.

Hmm, I will watch more closely but I am pretty sure I only see them when seeing the reverse camera or MG25. Navi never seems to show it.

It should be on the navi also.........the DOM unit sends the video for the navi also when installed. It should make no difference what is on your screen, it should look the same

I'm not entirely sure that is true, the navi signal is already ready to be passed directly to the screen and is essentially being passed through. The other signal I believe need/get some processing before being sent to the screen and therfore may be subject to different conditions/chips within the device.

I will ask Dom about this.

You could also be getting interference with the RCA cables you are using to connect to the Mediagate.

My RCA cables are shielded and I try to keep the plugs away from other electrical equipment.

brianp6621, about your flunctuations, it seems like you have a loose connection or a faulty module.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. However I am leaning towards a faulty module since it happens on both video inputs but not Navi. I am going to do some more testing and then maybe send it back to dom.

I don't think I am seeing any interference from unshielded cables because I bought good cables and both sources show it, and the RCA runs go in different places yet the fading looks the same on both.
