I installed an i pod interface took out the radio , after I was done I reinstalled back the radio by accident I input a wrong RAdio code...now it say ERR2...my question is how long I have to wait for it to reset back to the word CODE and at position setting the radio should be at....thx

 

Unplug your car battery... leave it off for about 30 minutes, then reattach the terminals. Then try it again.

If that doesnt work, take it to any dealer and they should fix it for you.

 

Thanks for the tip. I left the car for 1 hour, repunched it and it started working.

 

Glade you got it to work. I think you can type it multiple times. I actually messed up twice in a row and I still was able do it a 3rd time (which was correct). I'm not sure how many fails it takes to have your audio lock up.

You have ten tries before it locks up, it stops at err9 and then it says something else. Once that happens you have to wait an hour before you can try again, it goes back to 'code'. You can wait an hour with the car on or off too.
