Engine Noise through components

Ok so it seems i have this problem after my aftermarket install along with alot of others, so i am pretty sure this is a common problem with the 3rd gen TL. I have post asking about this and read alot of post on here but it seems like no one has a answer to a fix. I know that it can be caused by many things but can we get a consensus of what the main problems are and what fixed it. I have regrounded, test RCAs, Test Amp and still seem to have engine, alternator and fan noise coming through my component speakers. Its to the point that i am about to go back to stock.

I know I'm coming pretty late with a reply but just tryin to help... If you have your rca's ran down the same side as your power/ground, you'll probably have engine noise. I had the same problem and it worked fine after I bought a high end shielded pair of rca's and ran them down the opposite side of power/ground... hope you figure that problem out... it drove me nuts!

where have you grounded the components. Also what are the details on the system? AMP bybass? Location of amps and subs?

Ok here are some details. I have a set of infinity components with crossover. Tweeters in the dash and crossover and woofers in the door. LOC are hooked up at the OEM amp and both RCAs are run to the amps in the back. I have two amps one for the components (Rockfrod) and one for the sub (MTX). There are both grounded at a different location to bare metal (sanded off paint). Wire are then run to the speakers on each side of the car. I tried to run the LOC before and after the amp with the same issue

what LOC did you use??? it is recommended to place the LOC as close as posible to the aftermarket amp... to reduce noise... try that... and try grounding at the same location...

rodneyc77 is correct.

The LOCs should be as close to the amps as possible.

Ground from a common point.

You mentioned that your run the speaker wire on both sides. You're power should be run on the driver side and ALL other wiring should be run on the passenger side.

How are the wires connected? Soldered and heat shrink? Any open or bare wires will cause noise to enter the system.

When I had engine/ altenator noise I usually trace it back to the OEM amp LOC connection.
