When starting my 04' TL I get some weird electrical issues..

Sometimes it will take a while to start, and when it does:
- the time will reset to 1:00 (then go back to normal time after 5 seconds)
- memory seats will be reset

Other times, it starts fine and remembers everything

Just recently it forgot all my key options (the unlock button normally did all 4 doors, now its just passanger)


Not sure what kind of problem i have.. wondering if anyone has time tips/experiences with this?

 

Have you had your battery checked?

 

Yes, it was replaced about 2-3 months ago

 

Have your memory seat module checked out. Also do you have a navi tl or non navi?

I dropped it off at acura today... 108 dollar bill just to diagnose.... I cant believe these prices

 

I got hit with $105 to be told they couldn't duplicate my problem. Worse part is that my car is still under the extended warranty. Funny thing is they didn't send me a survey. I think that have control of who gets these surveys. Everytime I have had a good experience I get one.

 

Luckly for me (i guess...) It was the battery problem..

I got it replaced 3 months ago, and it was bad again... his reason was that it may have been sitting on the shelf for to long.... So the invoice was $0

New battery and problem is gone.... If it happens again it will be my 3rd time (which means i will refuse to pay any of their 'diagnosis' prices... so diagnose away....)

 

I'm glad you got that fixed. I've just started having problems with my seat memory resetting and about every 10th start is hard. Maybe I need to look into a new battery.
