Easiest/Best ipod adapeter for non-nav?
Looking for a prety simple solution that will allow good quality (no cassette, no RF) sound in a 2005 non-nav TL. Thanks in advance for your help...

Safety Car
Install seems straight forward. Some people have managed to install without even taking out the head unit.
XM can be kept with a Y-adapter. You can search for more info on that as well.

The DVD-A Script Guy
I just installed the BlitzSafe HON/M-Link1 V.2X in my 05 non-nav and it is pretty damn quirky.
To be honest it sounds very good compared to RF and cassette adapters. But after a few hours of playing with it it isn't as straight forward as I thought it would be. XM is retained but it is really soft until you disconnect the iPod and restart the car. Then the XM is back to normal but the iPod can't be heard. Other times the radio display goes blank. I got it because I saw lots of issues with the USASPEC unit but now I am thinking it is just that the Acura radio is hard to integrate with.
I was thinking I would return it and build my own (I'm good with electronics) but after pricing up the parts I would need the price is almost as much and then I'd have to build it.
Installation was pretty easy. I didn't remove the radio but I did remove the driver's side aluminum trim, under dash cover under the steering wheel and the left side of the console. This made it a lot easier to get at the connector. I'm getting too old to do the peak through the little hole in the carpet method others have used.
