E 815: How to lock volume?

I have a Motorola E 815 that has a tendency to change ring volume when its in my pocket. I normally set it on loud but it oftens changes to something else. Is there a way to set and lock the ring volume that I choose?

It sounds like the ring mode on your phone is being changed when you put it into your pocket-- do you have other stuff in your pocket which hits the mode/volume key? It doesn't take much pressure to change the ring mode, either.
The ring volumes on my Motorolas were/are all independent-- the ring volumes can be adjusted for "loud," "soft," "vibrate & ring" and "vibrate, then ring" modes. You could adjust the volume so that every ring mode other than "vibrate" and "silent" is at maximum. The "vibrate, then ring" mode works best for me since the phone is usually on a belt case.

Since this thread is more phone specific and unrelated to compatibility with the 3G TL AND since I cannot move this to the main Mobile Phones & PDA forum, I will have to lock this thread.

Any members that would like to help waymay1305, please do so through PMs.

waymay1305, feel free to repost this in the forum mentioned above. You might also want to check Motorola's support website. I am thinking you need to key lock your phone.
