Dynamating stock sub ??
Nope meant for free air it uses the trunk as a form of a box. I covered the trunk and deck in bquiet (same as dynamat diff name) nd I only covered the metal on metal spots ont he car that vibrated when u hit it.
HUGE difference no more rings, dings, slight loose noises, solidity increased cabin noise reduced... the only thing that squeaks is the back part of the seat... i forget to tighten the top bolts all the time. I did the doors as well, floor panels i couldnt go nuts on the ceiling because i took the headliner down to do the suede and if i was gonna do it i woulda covered everything n then id be fishing for pin holes......no thanks lol
One thing I did was cut out the trunk liner below the sub, ut has some padding ont he back and I think it impedes the depth of the sub. I feel liek the sub sounds a little cleaner now with a tad more depth, nothng dramatic, but every little bit helps with this pathetic ELS in the TL.
