Dynamat alternative

So I have been searching the forum for quite some time now. Awesome forum fyi some really good information is on here. Now back to my question, I am installing speakers into my 2004 tl I have bought infinity 63.9I for the rears (three ways) and got infinity 6.29I for the fronts (two way). I wanted to dynamat the rear as well as the dorrs but as everyone knows dynamat is a bit expensive. I have done my research and found that people have used b-quiet, peel and seel and a few other types. I was wondering if there are any other home depot type dynamats available that do not smell. I also have a question on where the best spots are to dynamat. Any input would be great thanks guys!

I can tell you that dynamat is alot stickier than the rest. I Did basically everything inside my car except behind the dash and roofliner.
