DVD-a won't play in car

Hey guys, burned a dvd-a (memorex, 1x burn) using wavelab and everything seems to work fine. When i put it into the acura, it recognizes it as a dvd-a disc, then on the dash says dvd-a disc with disc blinking repeatedly, it switches to xm radio and on the dash it says eject blinking, then ejects the disc. I don't understand what i did wrong, the disc structure is solid and the car recognizes it at first, then pukes it out. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

More details? Media type? Does it play in a home DVD-A player?

Hey mike, as i mentioned above it was memorex, and I have no way of testing whether it plays in a home dvd-a player or not, although the file structure was verified sound by the wavelab program. What other details do you need? The song files were .WAV burned at 24bit and 44,100khz.

DVD+R? DVD-R? People have had a lot more success with DVD-R(/W) media.

Perhaps the 24-bit files are a problem. Have you tried it at 16-bit?

something is making it spit the disc out -- it recognizes it at first. Has anyone had an experience like this?

Nevermind guys, looks like i fixed it by switching the bitrate to 16bit and burning it as an ISO! These sound fantastic in the TL! Thanks for your help.
