DVD-A Quick Question

I downloaded AdobeMan's program and have created the ISO image. I am not sure if there is a way to burn the image with my Roxio. Can someone tell me how to burn the image using Roxio or suggest a program that I can download for free so that I may use the DVD-A in my TL. Feel free to leave any tips also. Thanks.

You can use Roxio to do this. It's what I use, primarily because it was pre-installed on my PC, I had never deleted it, it works fine, and Vista's DVD-burning does NOT work fine.

Assuming you're using Roxio's "Easy Media Creator," you want to burn an image to a disc. On my screen this shows up on the right under "Most Frequent Tasks"—just click on "Burn Image." Then follow the prompts. Note that the disc must be "finalized" or "mastered" so that it can be played in other players. (Some people call this "closing the disc." It prevents you from recording further material to the disc.) If you don't do this, you'll have a shiny drink coaster.

Another tip I recalled while eating breakfast: Disable your screen saver while you burn the disc (this applies regardless of what burning software you use), and try to avoid using your computer during the burning. The idea is to allow the machine to "concentrate" solely on the burning process so that it won't slow down midway through, or start churning away at the hard disk, or the like. It's not necessarily a foolproof guarantee against a bad burn, but I've found that it seems to be a reasonable precaution to take.
