I popped in a dvd and it spit it back out. Does it not play DVD's? Does it only play audio? I just bought the 2005 TL with Nav. Thanks

Not to rag on you or anything, but the owner's manual is your friend. It has a lot of general info one should know about the TL.

 

You can always buy my converter and then play dvd's on the screen.

 

There is a difference between DVD-Audio and DVD-Video. Look for the same logo that appears on your TL's stereo. You can also easily tell a DVD-A because the jewel box is a different size from a CD's (annoying as hell, too, because they don't fit in many CD racks, nor do they fit in the little drawer underneath the TL's stereo).

But anyway, in addition to the RTFM advice above, play the demo disc that came with your car if you haven't done so already.
