DVD in navigation install

Few questions..

I understand fully that we'll never be able to put a dvd movie straight
into the drive, I know that ill need an external DVD player and get it
mounted somewere.....

But I dont get, what I need to do to get the navigation screen to play movies

Re-wireing the whole system?

Simple plug in?

Care to explain, or leade me to a thread that fully describes this, coudent find one...

Also, if/when i get it done, how would i play the movie?
Put disc in player, and it will just start or do i go to Aux INPUT or what

There is a unit that Dom sell called tvnavtogo.com. Many of our members have sucseffuly installed this device. There is a plug and play cable that you can buy with it. It will go behing the navi drive in the trunk, and there is a switch that lets you switch from navi to DVD. As for the DVD player, it would go whereever in the car and just plug it into the video input on doms unit. As for sound, there a a few devices such as blitzsafe, usa-spec and PIE X3. These are all plug and play as well. The only wires that will need to be tapped are the power wires to power these devices.

Csmeance has given you pretty good quick summary.

For the full details, please perform a search with the keywords DVD*, TVandNav2Go and Dom*. Good luck!
