DVD-A Label peeling off??

Question:

The manual recommends not using self adhesive cd and dvd labels as they can come off from excessive heat. Has this happened to anyone? I like to make my own CD's and DVD-A's and i would hate to have to revert back to a felt-tip marker to write all my song titles onto the media.

I never had a problem with labels peeling off in my old car, but it had a single disc player, not a changer which could possible have more heat problems.

Well, if the manual warns against this there must be a good reason. Don't you think? The changer mechanism must be fairly complex, and a lose label could really be a problem.

Who needs the songs written on the media anyway?

I can fit 7-8 Albums on a DVD-A at 16 bit. I don't need the song titles written, but the band and album names would be nice.

Besides, I was just wondering if anyone ever ran into a problem.

sharpie? I got that casio label printer that prints on the cd for a gift a while ago. They also have these new cds and dvds which use the existing laser to burn in image on the dvd when its inserted upside down. either need special drive or special software. DVD a's just single layer blank disks? I dont have a double layer burner yet only single.
