Bluetooth
Does anyone actually use Bluetooth? How is it? Would it be worth changing cellphone carriers and getting a new phone and all the hassell that goes with changing phones and numbers?
Ok, I have another question. If you are in the car with a few other people and a call comes in and you don't want to answer it and have everyone in the car hear your conversation, can you choose to answer using the phone itself? Or can you only answer through the Bluetooth system?

I use it any time I make a call ... it is easy when receiving calls also. And yes, I use the phone when I do not want passengers to hear a private conversation.
The phone book option lets you store numbers and it works by voice recognition... so you just have to say, "call, Joeshmoe" and it dials. You can set your phone, so any time you get in your car (or within 15" actually) the TL will automatically activate BT/HFL and your phone is linked up and ready to go!
Just make sure you get a good BT phone that works with HFL (HandsFree Link)

I hesitated for 3 months, but more because I was stuck in a long term contract w/verizon and didn't want to pay $400 for a V710.
After some searching I ended up getting the Razr w/cingular (kept my old #) and paying the cancellation fee w/verizon...it was still cheaper than the $400.
So to answer your question, yes I think it was worth it. It was a bit of a hassle because I didn't get the razr @ cingular store but it was well worth it. The phone as well as the HFL is just awesome.
I actually used the "Transfer" command the other day both ways. Once getting into the car and transferring it to the HFL and once leaving the car and transferring it to the phone.

for anyone with a 6MT the bluetooth option is probably a must have. of course you can use a traditional handsfree headset instead of the HFL from the car but this makes it seemless and you don't have to fumble between the phone and the gear shifter.
