DVD Headrest...

Hi everyone I am in the porcess of looking for a DVD Headrest but need some advices...

I have a WDP with parchment interior

1) What is a good size for our TL? 7, 8, 9, or 9.2
2) What color is the closest to parchment? tan or beige
3) Where can I get a pair for the cheapest price?

I found some on ebay but most are from China or Hong Kong, not sure if I trust them...but their price look very tempting...

any advice would be appreciated

I think you mean LCD's in the headrests?

If so, I'm sure you can find some info with a search for LCD* and headrest*.

check this thread...this guy put two 5.8" alpine monitors in his headrests...

also read the third post in that thread...he mentions buying a 'china special' monitor that was crap...so you might wanna avoid those on ebay...from china anyways...i had sony tv's in my impala that i bought off ebay from a store and they were awesome...7" flip-down and 6.5" in the passenger visor...i would try and put a 6.5" in the headrests...anything bigger may not mount...

Thanks for the info...It was LCD not DVD..

I seen people hookin up 7 and 8 inches headrests before and it realli look nice. So I kinda figure stuff from China. I heard if you pay cheap the quality will not be as good and plus you can't see the screen when the sun is shining at it. I guess the reason why I was thinking about this was that it look cheap to do...but If you want quality then you have to pay....hmmm

between october 2003 and may 2004, i put an alpine cd/mp3 deck ($300, retail $550) in, alpine amp ($250), two jl audio 12" subs ($250), sony 7" flip-down monitor with sony dvd player and wireless headphones ($500, retail over $1000), and a sony 6.5" monitor in the passenger visor ($200) in my impala...so for all that, i paid $1500...and i bought everything mentioned on ebay, except for the subs, which i bought off of a friend...the cost doesn't include installation charges, but $1500 for all that was a sweet deal...if you find the right deal, go for it...but i only stick to certain brands (sony, alpine, pioneer) and try to buy strictly from stores on ebay...

I currently have Accelevision LCD screens that came with a tan headrest and the match is near perfect. My first choice was Visualogic but a tan color wasn't available that time. It's 7 inch LCD screens without a DVD player.I had them installed the player at the backseat armrest/cupholder.I cost me a total of 1300.00 dollars.I have a WDP.

I don't have tv's in mine, but from helping a friend put 9.2's into headrests on his own did NOT work well at all, just too much tv to get to fit right in the stock rests. And I would stay away from china...

slammed those look sweet though, I suppose if they come with the tv's installed they work out alright!! what brand are those?

Would you mind telling us where you bought those headrests and for how much? Been trying to find a decent pair. If you have a picture of them installed, would you mind posting it? Thanks!
