DVD-A Disc's Questions
So I tried the Freeware from Adobeman and was able to create the ISO image. Let me know if I am wrong, but I want to burn the file as an Image correct? I used Roxio and it did not work for me? What am I doing wrong? Do I need to use Nero to burn this image?

yes, you want to burn the file as an image...i use Roxio Toast Titanium all day to burn DVD-A ISO files with no problem...but i use a Mac...
check the file size of your ISO image...it should be fairly large...if it's not, then it wasn't made correctly...
you can also use Nero to burn your image file...on windows, i prefer that over Roxio anything...
also, check out my signature to download the Definitive DVD-Audio Guide v2.0...

Thanks for the help. I will need to get a better copy of Nero for my computer. Roxio did not work for me. The file size is 3.77gb so the conversion was correct just not the burn process but I have had issues with the burner on my laptop in the past making regular CD-
Audio disc's. Thanks again
Audio disc's. Thanks again

How to switch Groups in the DVD Audio??
Hello All,
I am amazed of what the sound of DVD Audio, thanks to Adobeman!!
Anyway, I burned a few more DVD-A using DVD Audio Solo. When I created the DVD, I made 4 groups within the DVD. But when I inserted the DVD in my TL, it only played the 1st group. Does anyone know how I can jump to the 2nd or 3rd group within the DAV-A disc ??

What is the benefit of the DVD-A's? I burned about 6 DVD-A's and also burned the same songs as MP3's to one DISC. I have listened to both and I do not hear any difference. For me the MP3 DISC's allow the Dolby function to work; while the DVD-A's do not.

if you have an '07+ TL or an mp3 deck, don't bother with burning DVD-A discs...it benefits us who don't have an mp3 deck and only the stock DVD-A one...
but, if you want some quick info on the benefit regardless: with an mp3 you're listening to a compressed audio file...a DVD-A file is uncompressed, and therefore retains higher quality...turning the music up on an mp3 will give you distortion whereas a DVD-A is very very clear...plus with commercial DVD-A discs, you can hear every single instrument being played on a surround sound setup...the audio is crystal clear and it sounds like you're really there listening to the artist in person...you should try it out for yourself...

I used Adobeman and able to convert songs into 5.1 .WAV file.
But my question is can I use MP3 files to convert to 5.1 file? I made MP3 to WAV, then converted into 5.1 WAV using Adobeman's software.. Because when I add files to DVD audio Solo to burn the files... error messages showed on the right message bar. Unsupported or corrupted.....
I thought I follow the instructions on this site to make a DVD A disk... but what am I doing wrong??? HELP

cellowiz, WAVs can be very picky sometimes...they have quite a few settings and one little thing can ruin your disc...your best bet is to convert to a FLAC file, not WAV...FLAC never fails...

i dont understand what i'm doing wrong. I've used the adobeman dvd-a program but the dvd audio disc are just being spit right back out by my TL. I followed the instruction to the dot and tried multiple discs but yield no results. Is it my media? I've tried using 2 different types of DVD+R and none works.

The +R didn't work for me. The -R work fine.
One quick question while I'm here. At first, the DVD-A I create using Adobemans software work fine. Then, over time, some of the tracks just end abruptly. Anyone else have this problem?

i've only got Crystal Method - Legion of Boom and Porcupine Tree - In Absentia on DVA-A discs, but they are awesome!
you can hear every single instrument on the Porcupine Tree disc...as if you were there on stage with them...and the Legion of Boom is just badass...
