DVD audio question

Hey guys, I have a 2004 model Acura TL and my audio system came with the standard dvd audio option. I was wondering if it was possible to burn music onto a DVD writable audio cd and playing it through the Cars audio system?

If so, what type of DVD writable CDs should I purchase? Thanks.

From what I read on forums, DVD-R is the one that is recognized best by the audio system of the TL.

You have to use DVD-r disc and you'll first need to convert the mp3's to a .wav file, I use a software called acoustica mp3 audio mixer, once you convert them the .wav, you'll need a software to burn a DVD-A disc, I use DVD audio solo
( http://www.cirlinca.com/products.htm ) which will burn 99 tracks on a DVD-r. You'll notice the songs are alot clearer and they'll play in dts surround sound format. You can download both software trial versions but it's well worth it once you do it.

I used DVD+R's and had no problem burning DVD-A's. I used the Cirlinca's trial Remaster AND burn software. No converting MP3 to wav stuff either.

You can use any kind of DVD writable Disk, and I suggest a software called DiscJuggle.
