I am working on a guide on how to use freeware tools to create 2 chanel DVD-As. You will need a package that burns DVD ISO images like Nero (or similar) but other than that all of the tools are free.

The guide will give you a detailed method to follow that should simplify what some consider a daunting task. It will, however, require that all your files be "pre-converted" to wav files first. If you are simply compiling many CDs to a DVD-A then this is simple. If you are converting many different formats (mp3, wma, etc.) then the tools vary in how to do and in the quality they produce. That's why I won't get involved in conversion.

I hope to post it after this weekend.

If anyone is interested then please say so. I'd like to get an idea if anyone really want's it. (I'm doing it for me anyway)

Adobeman, that's a great idea. I believe this will help folks who want DVD-A and don't wanna shell out the bucks for Discwelder or Wavelab.

In the mean time you can try this...

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=118559

discWelder Bronze cost a few dollars. And Ulead Burn. Now is cheaper. But I have not had success with Burn.Now. discWelder works great. I use Audiograbber to rip my CD's to WAV.

Adobeman's solution (when released) is awesome and the price is right! FREE!!!
