ok...I don't know if any of you have or have had this problem...I have an 06 6MT and my DRL's don't come on...i know they are supposed to when you release the E-brake and such..they were working fine..then all of a sudden...now they don't....just the DRL indicator light in the dash is now on..
I went to Acura and they said it could be a faulty DRL relay switch....

just a note...about a month ago..i changed my DRLS to Yellow...they have been fine until now...would changing the bulb cause the switch to die???
they are just the usual 35w jdm yellow bulbs...
or is this just a faulty switch...

Maybe you can try to
1. make sure the new bulbs are fitted correctly
2. check to see if the old blubs work
3. Go from there.

It sounds like you just have a burn out bulb, both went out at the same time. Good luck

 

ya i went to the dealership to get it checked...then they saw I have aftermarket bulbs...and they said it's the bulbs that caused my relay to mess up..but..the bulbs I put in...are the same wattage as oem factory bulbs....so..theoretically...it shouldn't harm anything...but they are insisting that is my problem...and I kept telling them..its impossible...

so im thinking..maybe i didn't connect one all the way...so it thinks i have a burned out bulb....

i'll check again..

 

easy way to fix, take to a different dealer with the stock bulbs in.

but then what if it happens again??
it can't be the bulbs...there is no way thats even possible....
so what else could it be??

or do i just have a faulty relay??

 

well..now something weird happened..today..my DRLS started working for a short while..then...now they don't work anymore...

so...now is it maybe just a loose connection with one of the bulbs...??
cuz this proves the relay switch is still working...
just something is causing them to not work all the time...
