4 channel amp and stock amp

I was wodering if it would be safe to run a 4 channel amp and then run the sub and center channel off of the stock amp. This is uneed but I am going to run a memphis audio component set in the front and memphis audio 6.5s in the back. I also want to get a worth wild center channel seaker in order to bring the center channel out. Thanks a bunch guys.

You could do this, but if you're looking for sound quality I wouldn't recommend it.

You're much better off replacing the front components, and drive them with a good aftermarket amplifier, and do the same with the sub...replace it with a quality sub and adequate power. Keep the center and surrounds stock with stock amplification unless you've got the budget to do all 6 channels of speakers and amplification at the same time.

An improved front stage and sub stage with stock amplification on the center and surrounds will sound much better than the plan to upgrade front and rear but leave the sub stock.

Once you get a well blended setup like this, you could always go back later and upgrade speakers and amplification on the center and surround channels.

Just my .02...

But you are saying that it would be safe for me to run the center channel and sub woofer off the stock amp. Also why would the sound quality diminish?

Actually he told you to do the same with the sub, meaning get a good sub ie: jl 8w3 and say a jl slash series amp to run it. Then your only running the center channel speaker off the stock amp.

Alright sounds like a plan. I'd really rather run a kicker l7 in the trunk and get rid of the stock sub. The only thing that is stopping me is a rattling trunk. Don't know what to do yet. I was thinking of putting about 700w rms in the trunk. I've heard mixed reviews on how much rattling you will recieve. Also is the dynamating worth my money. I've heard of people on this forum with the dnamating and still get rattles!
