no one makes a mass produced one for our cars, it's custom all the way.

I got my done by Xtreme Autosound in Rancho Cucamonga, CA (909-481-9555) and they covered some pieces with carbon fiber which was a great idea.

The kit is specific for using double din pioneer products in your car. It should fit with no problem or you could go to your local dealer and do a custom install to your car.

The mounting bracket is reusable.
You'll need 1. a wiring harness and 2. a trim plate to make it work.

Custom install has a DD kit for $80. It has plastic support brackets. Krank it up is more $ but includes metal brackets. I bought the $80 version. It also included 2 harnesses. Haven;t installed my Pioneer AVH4100 yet will update when completed

^^ yes the foztech/krankitup one comes with adapters to keep it in use. There's also a resistor mod I think you need to do as well but there's a forum thread on it.

Where can I purchase one, I really want to change the stock radio for a double din, I have a 04 TL
I'm soon going to put 15s, change out the alternator to a 250amp, add 2 Xs power D3400 batteries, and a replace all door speakers, I'm tired of that cheap radio. Tried a line-out converter, but it's just a waste of money. Need something that work, and not have problems in the long run.
Thanks!

Okay good. Thanks. What about 4200? Will it fit that and what's your preference on the 4100 and 4200?

Double din kit

this place 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 ACURA TL DOUBLE DIN DASH KIT doesn't produce them any more.... Metra has it but it looks like you have to be a business inorder to purchase it... Results for: 2004 > Acura > TL > Base > 4-door > Sedan | Vehicle Fit Guide | Metra Online

The kit is also available at Sonic Electronix for either Single or Double Din installation. The difference is a removable pocket to cover the additional space for Single Din installation.

Wires are wires. Metra will do the job. The trim plate is up to you.

Dash Kit and Components

if you are just starting to this and can't find answers in the forums cause links are 404'ing then this might help you.

https://acuratldashkit.com/

They sell like the resistor mod/amp retainer so you don't have to wire tap it or anything. They also sell like a complete harness for pioneer radios that is just supposed to be plug and play. You don't need to buy the entire kit on the top scroll to the bottom and you'll see the piece I'm talking about its only $20.
