I get all the way on the pairing process to where you say the same of the phone. It either does nothing, beeps and exits the process or it gives me a response about not liking the name because it is too short. I am using a Droid3. Any suggestions?

Nevermind. We found the answer. We needed to clear the entire system. Then the pair process was able to complete.
