Depends on what kind of music you listen to.

If you like rap, 15s will be ok,

If you like techno, or any music with rapid bass hits, it would be better to get 10's, 12's at the most.

If you listen to all kinds of music, 12's would be perfect.

Adding any kind of bass is gonna require Dynamatting/sound deadening.

I would go with 2 12's

12's are the way to go. They have quicker more accurate bass. If you add the 2 15's or go with 2 good 12's, you are going to have to add some better highs/mids.

Since solobarics displace more air than a regular 15 would I say, if you like the sound of larger woofer then go for the 15s, You will need 2.0cuft per chamber for the 15s sealed so thats one big box to. Got the power and the room go for it.

It doesn't really sound like you're looking for Sound Q....

2- 15"s, whether it be Kicker, JBL, JL (do they even make a 15"?) etc. is WAY too much for any car. Besides the fact that you'd need a HUGE enclosure for them and they would sound like garbage, you're going to lose pick-up in the TL. I'm not sure of the specs, but if dnd2984 is right and you need 2.0cuft per solobaric (made of MDF and braced like crazy!!) that's going to add at least 70lbs. to the trunk of the car, if not more. Don't forget to add the weight of the subs and amps while you're figuring out the added weight.

If you want to do it right, do multiple 10"s. I'd start with 4... They are perfect size for all kinds of music. You can generally get away with smaller enclosures with more placement options which can possibly = less added weight.
With the right amp/sub combo, you can run the amp at 1 ohm and the 10"s will hit harder than 15"s ever could.....

I used to have an older Xtant 1001dx running 2 Boston Pro Series 10" subs and 2 - 2200x amps running 2 sets of Boston Pro Series 3-way separates in my old Teg..... That sub amp ran at 1 ohm all day long.

I've been to a lot of dB drags and I have yet to see a car with 15"s win any of them.

Just my

Even a pair of 10's will rattle our trunk like no tommorrow. Dynomat is a must!!! If you like low base and SPL then 15 is the way to go. It would sound good only in a ported or sloted port enclosure and you would need a very big box for those 15's to perform to what they are capable. But 15 can play much lower than 12's if that is what you like.
