Do I need a line out converter?
I am planning on buying Rockford Fosgate Prime
My question is that it has input for pass through but I am not sure how I will be connecting it to my car. Do I need a loc? Or can I just tap into stock subwoofer wiring?

from their webpage:
PRIME Amplifiers - R1200-1D - Rockford Fosgate®
Yup, it states low level inputs rated up to 4V. You'll need a LOC or buy an amplifier that doesn't require one.

I got the R500 and did not need one. I think that the stock head unit puts about 1V. I didn't read the manual where it says "up to 4V" but I would think that is the max level.
You need to take the preamp subwoofer wires and turn them into RCAs and hook that into your amp. Easiest way is to just cut up some RCAs and connect the wires to it. You will still have control of the sub through the head unit.
Run a power cable from the battery thru the firewall to the amp (make sure to add a fuse by the batter and the amp) and find a grounding point and run a cable to the amp.

Easiest way is actually using the subwoofer high level connection direct to an amp so if you want easy get an amp that takes speaker level inputs. You will also have sub control from your HU. You must be going IB as thats not much power for a boxed sub

And I was thinking about the fuse because the power wire will be running from the driver side so it will be kind of easier to add a fuse
