If you are going to be doing the install, right click on the pics and save the pics to your computer.. When you open them, they should resize to your monitor.

If i am not using the second input (the one for the reverse camera) should i just terminate the blue and white wires and not use them at all?

Search ebay for Wendy's back up cam, or big boyo back up cam, or any decent back up cam will work

There are lots, if you search "Reverse Camera" in ebay's Automotive section.

There are many other options.
As for the old threads, they all detail how to install and connect a camera. It doesn't necessarily matter which camera. So the info is still useful.

It's been about a year since I installed this unit and it's been great. QQ though... I always have to push the button to switch the video over Dom's unit to have even the back up camera to show up when I'm in reverse. Is there a wire that I didn't connect so that when I put the car in reverse, it'll just switch over to the rear camera from the navi screen automatically?

Likely. It should switch to the rear camera view when you put it in reverse. Check your wiring.
