Does anyone know what the differences are between the 04's navi disc and the 05's? I know the versions are different, and the database is newer (07-2004 vs 09-2003) but has the mapping data really changed, or is it just the points of interest information?

 

probably just new subdivisions and commercial establishments that have been added, thats about it for the most part

 

I checked out an 05 TL while waiting for my 04 to be serviced and looked at my neighborhood, which is in a small town and is mostly unverified. There were no obvious changes (still all unverified), but did notice that the address of my house now exists. The numbering on my street used to end about half a block before the end of the street where my house is (and has been for almost 30 years). So there has been some changes to the database, but certainly not enough for me to shell out $185.
