dc to ac converter question need help asap

Question for all you A/V experts!

I am about to install an xbox in my TL

. I currently have one of those cig lighter

dc to ac converters and was wondering if I could just hack off that cig lighter male plug on it and splice it to another wire that is connected to a 12V source? If so where can I find that source? Can I use an empty slot in my fuse box using an add a circuit? Your help is appreciated!

I'm sure you can tap into the fuse block somehow. But if you want a simple answer, you can tap into the cig lighter lead from behind the cig lighter, or at the fuse block.

Throw in a inline fuse close the the cig lighter though just the be safe!

Where are you putting your Xbox? I been wanting to put mine in car, but its so big... lol DAMN microsoft and their LARGE stuff... lol See the Slim PS2 fits in glove box. but xbox, HAHA that thing is so dman big... I just tryin to get some ideas on where/how to put in car...
