Dash speakers

Front dash speakers cracking I dont know how to disconnect them and im trying to figure that out without having to take to much apart. Its getting annoying and cant keep my music turned up.

Yeah I'm not sure where you can find the stock tweeter. I'm not sure if our vendors can get stuff like that. If not...or for a simple/quick fix....I'd check local junkyards. Being inside, on the dash, small, etc I doubt any of them are harmed on these wrecked TL's.

Also, to remove...I believe the grill over the tweeter just pops right off. I'd be careful doing it though

It is simple.

Take a feeler guage or butter knife and wedge it inbetween the tweeter grill and the dash. Be careful not to scratch the dash or grill/cover. They are not held on by clips, rather just friction. Once you get an edge up, just use your fingers to pull it up.

The tweeter then just unplugs from the connector. It can detach from the lid/grill.

You can order replacement tweeters from any acura dealer. See if this link works (for 2006, so pick your year) - they are $16 apiece on here:

When you get your replacement tweeters, be careful not to touch them. Be very careful.
