Hey all, I have grown tired of my ever-cracking dashboard and would really love to put a dash mat on it, but I can't seem to find a good quality dash mat with holes where the speakers are in my '08 Acura TL (3.2L Navigation). Has anyone had luck finding a dash mat that doesn't cover the speakers?

Thank you! That price tag is a little over my head at the moment with some necessary maintenance coming up; would you happen to know if their dash mats would affect the sound coming out of the speakers much? It doesn't have holes for the speakers the way that the coverlay does. I have heard mixed things about dash mats dulling down audio, and that would drive me crazy.

 

save up. buy once cry once.

 

take any dash cover and place it in position, mark center of tweeters and cut an X with about 1.5" cuts. pull tweeters and reinstall. it also keeps the dash cover in place and tight at the corners.

 

put your hand over your tweeters you’ll know instantly, it’s bad. I dread the day my dash cracks and will probably sell my car instantly lol
