I installed my iSim73 (refurb) earlier this evening and failed to get it to work. My iPod was taking a charge, however I was not able to access my XM channel, as if it did not recognize the iSim/iPod. I unplugged it, and plugged my factory XM harness in, and the XM worked fine..that eliminates one issue. I checked and double checked all my connections, but the XM button wouldn't do anything. cycled through my am/fm, and then hit XM, still nothing. :scratchhead:

Has anyone else had this issue?

Also, after I put my panels back on, I noticed my climate control temperature and "auto" button lights are out(still retain function)...have no idea how those could have been affected during the breakdown/install procedure. I'm going to have to take out the Navi display anyway, I lost a damn clip for the d/s aluminum trim garnish..fell somewhere behind the nav unit. :\

Any help is appreciated, I'm relatively new to the TL chassis.

i dont know if this was the cause for the blown bulbs but typically you either want to pull the fuse or disconnect the battery when doing work behind the radio.

Update the firmware on the isimple gateway with the latest you can find on their site.

I disconnected the battery. I can't find the update anywhere on their website. Anyone know where to go for the firmware update?
