Cruise control illumination..?

Hey Folks. Just bought an 04 6MT in White sports package(factory body kit etc). Got a really good deal on it. Buuut it when I turn on the lights at night, my cruise control buttons on the steering wheel do not light up, and neither do the two buttons on the left to change the brightness of the spedo. Any ideas? Fuse? And the select/reset doesn't light up either.... Any help is appreciated!

The bulbs probably burned out. Depending on how many miles you have, it's possible that they could be covered under warranty. I'd give your local Acura dealership a call, though.

Not sure but, IIRC, they don't light up. I'll check mine later.

Every one of the lights you described as being out on your car all illuminate in my '04.

Correctamundo.

I just checked my '04 and they all light up.

If yours are ALL out, then it's a fuse. That many bulbs don't all burn out at once.

In your interior fuse box, it may be fuse #6 (interior lighting). Here is the manual:

I hope it's only a fuse......GL

On the steering wheel it;s most likely bulbs. I'm going thru this right now. I lost the right side of the steering wheel (cruise buttons). Took her in they fixed them. But now the left side is out but where working when I took her in. My part rep told me they had to remove the steering wheel to get at the bulbs there and would need the car for a day + other things I had done to the car. Dash might just be a fuse. Will be having them fix the left side on my next oil change.

Soo on my steering wheel all but the Cruise and Mode button now come on.. Still have the same outtages for the select/reset and the Spedo controls on the dash. So I'm gonna go ahead and say its a fuse. And even if its not.. I dont havei t under warranty so I'm just gonna live with it. Thanks guys.
