Creating a DVD that will play MP3 files, is this possible?
Just purchased TL07 w/navi
I can play MP3 files recorded on regular Cd's with no issues, cd will hold approximately 130 files
My question is: Can I play DVD media the same way? I have burned through approximately 10 discs with no success. System just ejects the disk without recognizing the media.
Is the system only able DVD-A?
Thanks

Welcome, I copied this because you're new. Search will be you best friend for a while. This link is only the tip of the iceberg. Everything is here somewhere. Hope this helps.
(sorry the link didn't copy correctly)...Do a search for Adobeman's GUI. He's a regular and did an outstanding job putting a method together.
Why are you guys wasting your time with CDs (18-22songs) when you can create DVD-A discs (up to 99 songs per, depending on length). See the thread about Adobeman's GUI. I've got 14 compilations discs of music from my collection of CDs. Albeit 2 channel, it sounds great in the TL.

Welcome to the forums Finepix. This is pulled from the 3G TL Audio & Electronics FAQ:
Theres more info on creating DVD-Audio disks in the FAQ.
Q: How do create a usuable disk containing many songs?
A: Unfortunately, the '04-'06 TLs do not support MP3 CDs. Instead, there is support for another audio disk standard called DVD-Audio or DVD-A. These special disks can be purchased in stores and with the help of some software, they can also be created (with the right software and disk). Please see the questions below for further details.
With the introduction of the '07 TLs (Base and Type-S), CDs containing MP3 files are supported. DVDs containing MP3 files are not supported, but DVD-A support remains.
