Connectivity with HandsFreeLink

Hey all, I've connected my 'cost-efficient' LG smartphone to the the Bluetooth HandsFreeLink system and can make calls on it, and can use the phone book function, but am running into a wall when trying to get any type of other music/ data/ ect to connect. I understand how to go through the easy-setup steps of selecting the phone provider; but the only options seem to be outdated, or big name services (Verizon, Att&t, Sprint). I'm using pre-paid straight-talk service currently, and am wandering if you can connect 'any' phones data to the vehicle through the advanced options (inputting PPP and, ect.)

Thanks for your help!

HFL only supports the Bluetooth protocol for voice, it can't do anything else.

If you do a search using google and adding "site:acurazine.com" to it, you'll see that there have been some discussions regarding your topic. To put it simply: it's just for talk.
