I have been reading posts on the peripheral pxamg and cannot figure out what the deal is due to all the different combos. I have a 2008 TL without navigation.

1. Where is the best place to get the Peripheral brand module?
2. Do I need a separate cable or is the necessary one included with the module?
3. I see a lot of people waiting for a harness update, if I am reading right this is for navigation tl's only?
4. Does the ipod text show on the radio's display even though I don't have navigation in my car?

Appreciate the help, just need to find out for my ride specific and the threads seem to me all over the place. I see people saying their cables need to be updated and software problems and I am trying to confirm if this effects my 08 non navi tl or not?
