Component wiring???
Component wiring???
FIRST.... I did search, didn't find
So now I'm gonna ask the help of the experienced. I'm running front components, but don't see how to get wire from woofer into the cabin. Do you just tap into stock amp? (Btw I'm bypassing factory amp)
I read they have threads showing you where to make a hole. But I can't find it

You can either connect at the woofer outputs of the stock amp, at the wires going into the door, or drill out the molex plug and run new wires through the boot. If you are running less than 75ish watts rms, stock wiring will be fine.
I ran my wire through the boot. If I remember correctly, I had to drill the door a bit because I wanted larger wire. I couldn't get the wire on the inside of the molex, so I went outside of it. I had to drill out a little of the door metal. Then I put touch up paint on it so it wouldn't rust. I found help for it on this site, I just don't remember what I used as search criteria.
Thanks. I used the stock wiring. Now I'm getting horrible feed back through speakers on volume 1. I grounded bolt to bolt behind back seat. Only thing I can think of is I need to actually cut away the metal behind the front doors.
I bypassed stock amp and have an aftermarket radio.
