when you did the non-navi 2 navi; was there a new harness that connected to the existing heating / ac controls extending them to the new location at the clock? in the process of installing a drive soft set up with a 7" screen to replace the radio location, as well as a 7" touch screen to replace the non-navi heating/ac display. any words of wisdom.

For those that have done it, how much has everyone paid out of pocket to have thier non-navi converted? Did you do the work yourself?

navI upgrades

I'm at $2000.00 + for my parts. Who knows how much my install is going to cost. if you live in the Atlanta area there is a installer thatll do it for $500.00. Wish I could use him, I live in Denver.

yes, it IS possible. I have tapped the rgb as well as a sync line to install the TVandNav2go adapter for a PS2/DVD player.

I know exactly with the thread started. Maybe he still has subscribed to, or maybe someone else knows. I also am not dumb enough not to have PMed him but being new the forums won't let me. So my choices are to either do nothing or at least say something on the thread and maybe get some help one way other another.

If you search around, you'll find a few photo documented threads.

But at the very least, you'll need the ETM. It'll be your bible to wire colors, locations, etc.

You should also have the service manual so you know how to take the car apart.

Sweet man, that should help out a lot. I may have to ask you some questions later when I am able to get this done. And I thought I had the PM part turned on but I will change that here.
