Clock panel is flickering

the panel in my 2005 Acura TL that shows the clock and volume for music, ect flickers and sometimes goes completely dim. I have to hit the panel for it to come back, and even then its only temporary. Is this a fuse issue?

Usually a display issue. Needs to be replaced or if possible, repaired.

After I replaced my clock panel the issue stopped occurring.

Although some people claim it's a loose connection at the wire harness connector, I'm certain it's an internal problem which you can't fix unless you know how to solder.

all you gotta go it stick something underneath the connector to snug it up.

def not a connector issue. It’s how the soldering hold up together across the whole screen module

Not sure what I did, but the brightness kept flicking on and off until a couple of good whacks then stayed on. Then I just stuck something in between the connector and BAM! Never turned off again. That's just my method tho
