Clock Issue

I have done a search but could not find anything that really pertains to my problem...
'05 TL w/ navi
The clock is WAY off...tried pulling neg batt cable, no such luck. The navi doesn't seem to update the clock at all!
Any ideas on fixing??
Thank you.

Do you have it set to update automatically? I believe it can be ajusted manually as well. Have you looked at your manual??

Yeah, I have. The manual says that with navi units, the clock sets automatically.

For navi cars, I believe the satelite(s) download the correct time to the Navi and then the navi updates the clock. You don't need to do anything to the clock, at least you are not supposed to.

I know my clock is always right on when compared to the "beep" at the top of the hour on talk radio stations. Yeah, I am old.

It sounds to me like you have an issue so I would take it to the dealer.

good luck

Yes, on mine, it has that also, but it doesn't update the time on the top display.

It is possible that your car is not getting the satellite reception to update the time. Try parking your car is an open area with your engine on and all the windows open. I have read some strange posts that this has worked in fixing satellite connectivity issues.
