Now before you all say search , I'll go ahead and tell you guys that I did. I am not asking about the bulbs for the overheads and door and stuff like that. I am asking about the bulbs that are in the door switches etc. I am thinking about redoing all the interior lights with hyper white leds. My question is, are the current bulbs green or have those green light condoms on them, or is there some kind of coating inside the switches that make the light green?

 

they are tiny incandescent bulbs with the rubber covers like this

those are eary to change but some are actually soldered on and some are even tiny surface mounted LEDs those are on the stereo and overhead sunroof homelink buttons like this

Ok, just wondering now. Thanks for the answer. As far as the soldered ones on the boards go I am not worried about that at all. I do electronics for a living and work on circuit boards.

Will take some time to get everything together and find the time to start takings things apart. I just sick and tired of bulbs blowing out. I think I had about 5 go out on me in the past 6 months.

 

I need to replace bulbs on my climate control buttons. Which bulbs fit there and can someone show me a diagram of this???
