Changing 12V power drop to "Unswitched"?

It appears that both the 12V accessory ports in my TL - in the bottom cubby under the radio and the one in the lower arm rest compartment - are both switched, That is, when the car is off the outlets are off. Is there a way to make either or both of these "unswitched" or always on? TIA .

Will require some wire cutting and splicing, but it is doable.

Thanks for the input . I was afraid that was the case - I was hoping that as this car is so "tweakable" there would be a switch somewhere or a way to change it short of rewiring. Might as well do it when I do the Sirius install!

Do a search. There's an easier way involving putting a jumper wire in place of a cirucit relay.
