Center Speaker Crackling
It seems "Vicki" has gotten a cold, or perhaps a case of bronchitis.
For some reason over the last few weeks my center speaker (the one the navi uses) has been "crackling". This "crackling" is more pronounced when the car is first driven after being in the sun for a long time. It has gotten much worse recently.
I don't think I blew the speaker since I don't blare music and Vicki doesn't seem to get angry no matter how much I yell at her for f'in up my voice commands (she is very complacent).
Any audiophiles <SP> have ideas? It really sounds like crap. Could is just be old age? She is an '04 with 70k miles.
And no, I am not crazy for naming my voice....

it could be a loose wire or bad contact for the wires. Also it could be the speaker itself because sometimes they just kill themselves. If indeed it is the speaker, you can upgrade it to a better aftermarket one if you don't have warranty.
