In the middle of a DVD Audio disc , my player just stopped working. I could not switch to another disc, or get any sounds. The display showed no discs in the changer even though there were 6 in there. I referred to the old computer motto "when all else fails, reboot" and turned off the ignition. Everything worked fine after I turned it back on. Hmmmm.

Anybody else have this happen?

BTW, 1,025 miles on this car.

 

I have not experienced this.

Tip: if this happens while driving, just turn the ingnition key to the start position. It will not engage the starter, but will do a reset of the audio and navi systems.

 

now, same thing happened to me 3 times. Acura dealership replaced units every time with a new one, just to have same problem happening soon after. They also told me that Acura ELS units are manufactured by Panasonic, Clarion, or Alpine, and that every new unit I get is actually a refurbished unit. I didn't like that answer... I have started a thread with this issue, but nobody else had such a problem. Please keep this post alive and let me know how did you fix your problem. As I said, I am on my 4th ELS unit, and they still have no idea what was the root cause.
