CD Player Format

I have searched for threads and even posted my own a few months ago with no luck. Can someone please tell me how to change the format on my CD player because I am assuming that is the issue. The problem I am having is since I bought the car when I try to load a CD it says Format then spits the CD back out. 2007 TL. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you have an '07, then you can do a CD (w/ or w/o MP-3) OR DVD-A w/ WAV files

Are you loading burned CD's or what?? Could be an issue with the maker of the CD, etc.

Does it reject store bought CDs? If so, it's probably going out. Mine got super sensitive even to brand new store bought CDs before it finally died. I would get a format error or it would skip around even on a brand new CD, it got kind of random for a while and then went out with a pop that nearly destroyed my subs.
