CD player is DEAD

I have an 05 Non-navi 6sp. The Cd player was acting crazy this morning. Everytime i pressed the eject button "eject" would flasj for 30 seconds and then "ERR" would appear then the radio switch to XM or FM. I would press the button for a different CD and the same process would repeat. Now the eject button and the CD button are no longer responding.

Any suggestions or comments? I am loathe to take my car in so close to xmas. I will miss her to much. Thanks in advance.

there were a few threads about people getting their CD's stuck in the CD player....some people took it to the dealer and they fixed it...some people jammed something in there and wiggled it around...search for the threads and ull find them
